A hub upgrade was needed as i run 4 IP cameras and 3 pcs. Has 8 ports, but 1 will be taken up by the connection to the router. I understand it handles cross-over cables or not automatically.

I know it ghetto af but it works. Nearly a year on and the device has never faltered. One important thing to mention if anyone is planning on getting this as their first managed switch is to first plug in the switch on its own to a PC or laptop and configure the static IP before you plug it into your network.

It's not POE (Power over Ethernet) but does come with a UK 3 pin plug. It was also useful when making up extension cables off a Cat6 reel, as once made up and tested using my cable tester which validates the cables have not been swapped during installation, I was able to use this to validate the cable and speed using two ports. 1

85Amps so nice lower power. The switch is also unmanaged, so no set up needed, Just plug the line to the router, and then run off to over PCs. Speed-wise, the switch performs as you'd expect. Note: the picture is my first EVER attempt at networking.
