Me and my husband always argue over getting the Christmas tree standing straight each year and have had a couple of trees fall down on us. I have waited quite a while to review this item as it was bought last Christmas and while the tree had already been erected and decorated. Putting up the tree takes seconds and I can do it on my own and get it straight . The arms that grab the trunk are quite strong.

Removed net. Every year, there is always quite a lot of ‘frustration’ surrounding the tree which results in a lot of swearing, vowing never to “do this again” and standing in the same position trying the get the bloody thing to stand up straight in the stand. It seems very stable.

The tree was very heavy but it had no problem during erection. Jobs a good un’This is a gift from the Xmas gods. A couple of very easy pumps of the handle and the tree was tightly held and perfectly straight!

I’m first tree last year. After 29 years of using a stand with awkward set up and 4 hard to access and turn metal screws, this is a revelation. No further adjustment was needed.

Literally two minutes and the tree was up and held fast. We did have to shave the trunk down to fit the hole but that’s because it was a particularly big tree. I swore never again but this has been the answer to my prayers! Literally amazing and the best £40 we have ever spent!

The tree is pretty big but the medium stand has been perfect. If you're after a strong tree stand this one's for you! Christmas hallelujah! Does need two people to lift and place.
