Part of buying these nice expensive whiskeys, is having a nice tin to keep it in. A double gold, and 98 points for JM Murray's, speaks volumes about this whisky. It was literally flying about the box, as it was so inadequately packed.

As I still had a little left, I had a little tasting session to see which one I like most, and it's definitely the Casg Annamh. Punctuality and care in delivery; top notch product 👍 The bottle is beautiful, the box too, a pleasure. No wonder this whiskey is winning gold awards.

, for lack of a better phrase, has this "white noise" that muffles the taste for me. Pure delight.

Parmenides

. This 14-year-old Aberlour single malt was aged in a combination of oak barrels that contained Sherry and Bourbon. The result is aromas of cloves, cardamom, caramel, milk chocolate and orange zest on the nose, complemented by notes of black cherries, mocha coffee and fresh mint in the mouth.

Kim

This was packaged really badly. A whisky that will delight connoisseurs, it has been aged in oak barrels which gives it all these aromas. The aromas are numerous and complex but harmonize with each other to give a very good whisky that can be enjoyed at dessert time.
