I used to use things that were similar to the old school Turbie Twist and my hair is so thick it absorbs so much water. These scrunchies really work to help dry long hair, and they do indeed help it dry more curly and voluminous. PRO TIP: Put them on your wrists when you wash your face at the sink to avoid water dripping down your arms. I forgot I was wearing it and then realized my hair was 90% dry.

It doesn’t damage my hair, create an indentation, or cause frizz. I shower at night and put my hair up in a bun and the next morning it’s 90% dry. !

I included pictures of it when it was brand new and after several months of use for comparison. Or when you’re not going to blow dry for awhile but want to get a head start on the process. Well those devices would reach there max absorption and then just sit on my wet hair.
